The Grand Jury Room is furnished with paintings of prior sitting Judges, the American and Georgia Flags, cherry colored wood and finely upholstered green patterned chairs.

SUPERIOR COURT

The Superior Court of the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit is created by the Constitution of the State of Georgia. Cherokee County is the only county in the circuit. Superior Court is the general jurisdiction court, with the authority to hear all civil and criminal cases. It has exclusive jurisdiction over felony criminal cases, divorces, cases in equity, and cases involving title to land.
